Payment
Secure Payment Policy
All Credit Card transactions are processed immediately with the Bank. The payment page is secured with 128 bit encryption. The card details you enter are safe because it is not stored or cached by Parallel Imported Ltd - but is entered into a secure database at our payment gateway.
Payment for Internet banking/Direct deposit orders must be made within 5 working days. If payment is not made within this time the order will be cancelled and will need to be placed again.
We also perform random security checks on orders. This is to protect ourselves and our customers.
Security Verifications For Online Orders
All orders are subject to our verification procedures. If we are unable to verify your details, we will notify you and will need further information to process the order.
We may request documents to verify your identity, this can include, but is not limited to:
- A Bank Statement
- Credit Card Statement for the card used
- A Utility Bill (Power bill, Phone Bill etc.)
- Photo ID
These documents would need to show both your name and address used for your order. You can block any other personal information.
These procedures are performed to counter a rapidly increasing number of fraudulent orders. This is done to protect your security as well as our own.
These procedures were recommended to use by the Bank to ensure that your card is not being used without your knowledge or permission.
** Please note that if we do not receive one of the above within 5 days of your order being placed, we will cancel it and refund you in the format you paid.
Web Orders
Please note:
We cannot accept international orders by Credit Card. If you are overseas and would like to purchase from us you will need to organise for delivery to a freight forwarder in NZ at your expense, we cannot arrange this for you. Any international orders must be paid by direct credit into our account. If you would like further clarification please feel free to email us.
Stock Availability
Stock availability is for reference only. Stock levels are not updated live; as a result some items may be out of stock at the time of ordering. If this does happen, we will endeavour to source the product for you as fast as possible. Stock levels vary between the stores and the website.
We make no guarantee as to product colours, as a particular colour may have run out by the time your order is processed.
We reserve the right to limit purchased quantities.
Unforeseen manufacturing, supply or delivery problems or unexpected demand (due to an item being offered at a discounted price) may occasionally result in stock unavailability.Unless otherwise stated, accessories shown are extra. Trade Not Supplied. We reserve the right to correct any printing errors.

Pricing
Prices displayed on the Parallel Imported website are subject to change without notice. Prices for items on an order are fixed once your Order has been accepted. Subsequent price changes either up or down will not be retroactively applied to accepted orders.
Backorders
While we make every effort to source backordered products, on occasion we may not be able to do so. If a backorder has been placed for an item that we cannot source we will notify you and will provide you with a prompt refund. Refunds will be made using the same method as payment i.e. Credit card payments will be refunded back onto credit card etc.
Please note that backordered products may take some time depending on the origin of said product. We will provide an approximate time frame when we have one and will endeavour to keep the customer up to date with progress.
Payment for backorders is required at time of ordering, if paying by internet banking, payment is required within 3 working days.
Delivery Policy
We will not deliver to a Post Office box or any address in which we deem suspicious. Should you feel that your goods do not arrive in good condition, please feel free to contact us using our contact form.
Please allow us up to 5 working days to process your order and send the goods out. If the order is urgent, please follow up the order with a phone call.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged goods, or goods that have been delivered to an incorrect address. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the stated delivery times are kept, due to variables outside of our control, we cannot guarantee that the goods will arrive as per the stated delivery times.
If an item is out of stock, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as we possibly can and organise for a suitable solution.
Deliveries to Rural areas and Waiheke Island can take an additional 2 working days.
Goods ordered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will only be shipped on Monday unless.
If a parcel is not received within 5 working days, we need to be notified immediately; otherwise we take no responsibility for the loss of the item.
Please note:
Some deliveries to Waiheke Island may incur a surcharge of $25.00.
Items in excess of 10kg's may be charged $15.00 for delivery.
Should a parcel be returned after several attempts at delivery have been made, the customer will be liable for a re-delivery charge of $20.00.
We cannot arrange same day delivery for items purchased online.
Returns
General Returns
All returns are subject to inspection by ourselves and/or our service department.
Online orders will be subject to a restock fee. The restock fee will be the larger of $20 or 10% of the order value.
Returned products must be in the same condition as received including all packaging and accessories, items must be completely unused.
Faulty items will be covered under our Warranty Policy.
Warranty Policy
Parallel Imported Ltd will fulfill all of our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
All our products carry a standard 1 year warranty.
Our warranty works on a Return To Base basis. This means that should a fault occur with your product, it will need to be returned to us for assessment.
Once we have received an item, we will book the item in and send to an independent service agent for assessment. All items are repaired if possible, if a repair is not possible or feasible, we will arrange a replacement item, if a replacement is not possible we will arrange a credit or refund.
All service items are subject to a $45 deposit payable at the time of booking item in. This deposit will be refunded should the item be repaired, replaced or credited under warranty. Should the item be found to be non-warranty, this deposit is kept as an assessment fee and will not be refunded.
Please note:
Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Liquid/Moisture, sand/dust, impact or any other damage will not be covered under the warranty.
Please note that any attempts to change or modify the software/firmware on a phone will void the warranty.
Please ensure you backup all data including contacts etc. Parallel Imported takes no responsibility for any data lost.

Privacy Policy
Any personal information that is provided by the user of this website is retained by Parallel Imported Ltd for the purposes of contact and shipping only and will not be distributed to third parties.
We value your privacy. We will never give, lease, sell or otherwise disclose your personal information. Any information you give to Parallel Imported will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented. If you have any questions at all about our privacy policy, please contact us.

(All images on our website are for reference purposes only). If you are unsure as to an items colour etc or would prefer a specific colour, please call or email prior to placing your order.
Please be aware that stock levels are not updated live, and bear no correlation to store stock levels. As there are 4 stores within Auckland it is advisable that you call the store directly to check the availability of a product to avoid disappointment or a wasted trip.
We reserve the right to limit quantities per customer on certain items that may be on special. We will attempt to place a note on the items concerned; however we reserve the right to cancel orders placed on limited items.
